4 Types of Sentences

Declarative – a sentence that tells something

Interrogative – question

Imperative – a command

Exclamatory – shows excitement

A sentence has a subject and a predicate.

A subject tells who or what is doing something in the sentence.

A predicate tells what the subject is doing, or the action part.
